newly emerged industrializing nation (e.g. China or India) and one established industrial nation
or region (e.g. Australia and New Zealand, North America or Europe) your essay must:

2. Identify what the benefits are associated with work-life balance for employers and
employees.
3. Identify from the literature the types of problems that can be associated with introducing
this type of ‘family friendly’ policy into a national or multinational enterprise operating

4. Identify how issues of national culture can complicate a multinational enterprise
operating in an industrialized and a less industrialized country/region from adopting a
global policy and practice such as work-life balance and what some of the strategies are
that might be used to overcome these issues.
